We all have a different stance on color. Some of us use large amounts of bold cold while others would rather bring it into their homes in smaller amounts and let neutrals or softer colors take center stage. Which category do you fall in?

In the past I've found myself being a small color person. Although I like vibrant artwork and accessories, I never truly had the chance to paint my space, allowing me the freedom to choose a bold color for walls or possibly large furniture purchases.

I stuck to accessories I could paint or spruce up to make those pops of color for me. Now there's plans to paint walls bright pink and I still have that blinding yellow bathroom. The change happened when I was finally able to design how I wanted without thinking about repainting it when my lease was up. There are some advantages to homeownership.

Does your space control your color? Do you like bright, bold hues on the walls and surfaces or would you rather bring in a splash of color with a throw or pillow? Share your thoughts on color and how you use it in your own life in the comments below.
