I recently recognized felt storage boxes at a friend's house as one of my Daily Finds from the summer. They're from West Elm (and have curiously gotten slightly smaller and slightly more expensive since their first iteration) and are handsome enough to grace her living room to hold her kids' toys. I liked that the felt storage was lightweight and brought some softness to the space. What other felt storage options are out there I wondered?
A bunch actually. Some quite expensive and some very affordable. Above are eight to consider. Follow the links for more information or to purchase.

those are all still ridiculously expensive for storage... cute, but far from what my budget allows
I love these too, but I agree that the majority are out of my price range.
I actually made my own felt storage baskets following this tutorial:

They were super easy to make and only cost as much as the felt (which you can get pretty cheap if you look around).
I found grey felt bins at Marshalls for $12 - great for storing my daughter's board books and toys.
Here's a cheaper one from Target. Only $19.99. http://www.target.com/p/GREY-FELT-BASKET-FELT-WOVEN-BASKET-NO-SIZE/-/A-13784694
I don't get why felt is so expensive...it's FELT for heaven's sake.
I have the target one listed above in my living room and it works perfectly as a toy box. I had considered making my own, but thick felt is pricey.
Good wool felt is quite expensive so the prices don't surprise me, in color especially.
The uber thick, 100% Wool Felt used in some of these can't be compared to cheap, synthetic felt in cost or beauty. Target and Marshall's...made in China from cheap material. Some of above, handmade in the US from gorgeous, thick, vibrant 100% wool felt.
Really just depends on what you treasure in your home. I buy cheap when I want cheap, and quality when I care to have quality, but I never compare the two.....
