Surplus always stinks. What did they do to remove the odor?

These things are scratchy as steel wool. No one really ever uses them, except as a bed cover because you have to have them to make your bunk look neat. If people do use them as blankets, they make sure they have two layers of cotton between them and the blanket.

I had some old wool army blankets that were super scratchy so I ended up using them as curtains. I wonder if these are scratchy too.

I'm not sure if it's cool for the designer in question to comment, but hi, this is Lindsay from Ouno Design. No, the blankets don't smell! We're very picky. Everything we get is in good shape - we reject anything unredeemable. And that includes scratchiness. We also wash everything in the washing machine and dryer, on delicate, to make sure that you can too. Thanks for the post!
