It may be utilitarian, but army green can look downright chic as an interior color. It's also surprisingly versatile — it looks glamorous with gold accents, rustic with woodland ones, and elegant with modern furniture.
It's a great alternative if you want more color in your home, but don't like bright hues. It's also a good background color for an art collection, since it's neutral enough for the art to show, but still a bit unique.

Shaw's Original Fir...
I was excited about this post as army green is one of my favorite colors to wear, but these images are, for lack of a better word and sorry for the pun, drab! Army green also looks great with hot pink/fuchsia, orange, red, and turquoise. Come on, let's kick it up a notch!
I agree with decitananda. I was hoping for some inspiration, and not just paint. C'mon AT: you are up to the challenge!
Wow, EXCELLENT examples! I think every one is attractive and tasteful.
Love the fourth photo.. It almost makes me forget it is a kitchen. It's more like a chill work space.

Ironic that you post this on the day I'm getting rid of my army green couch and chair. ;-)
I'm glad I saw this!!! My son has autism and this is his favorite color and now I'm inspired to paint rooms in colors he'll like. And as I can see, it doesn't look too drab or too masculine.
