For Buccaneers Big and Small:
DIY Pirate Ships

If you're a little intimidated by trying to build a pirate ship bedroom or an elaborate wooden pirate play house, here are a few ideas that might seem more feasible. Whether you're looking for a pirate ship toy to float in a pond or a full vehicle for kids to play in, you'll find something here!

1. Pirate Ship Wagon by Stitched by Crystal. Designed for a Halloween costume, this project converts a wagon into a pirate ship without destroying the wagon. You can convert back whenever the pirate phase is over.

2. Toy Pirate Ship
from Mollie Moo. Michelle McInerney built this detailed pirate ship for her daughter. It works well for boys or girls, as evidenced by Mollie's daughter using her Polly Pockets to raid the ship.

3. Egg Carton Pirate Ship
from Craft Project Ideas. The supplies for this ship could be easier to find: egg cartons, paper plates, and clothespins.
