These handmade, one-of-a-kind lighting pieces come in a variety of shapes and applications, including ceiling mounts lighting, chandeliers, floor lamps, pendants, sconces, table and task lamps, most of them available for purchase. Our favourite is "The Ferryman" reading and research lamp, an intricate contraption for the bookish researcher of arcane knowledge and newly discovered creatures of the deep, equipped with a LED UV lamp on one side, incandescent on the other, with a magnifying glass for inspecting anything in greater detail. If you're fortunate enough to live in the area of Stamford, Connecticut, be sure to swing on over to Art Donovan's exhibit at the Hamptons Antiques Galleries. If that's too far, you can always contact Art Donovan about details and pricing inquiry directly over at his website. And definitely check out the amazing steampunk art and design pieces from the Steampunk Museum Exhibition...an overwhelming amount imaginary yesteryear-tech eye candy to behold! A few of our personal favourites below.
