Last week I wandered into an adorable shop in San Francisco's Mission District (a cute sandwich board has never steered me wrong), and was delighted to find not only the world's prettiest bundt cake pan, but an exhibit of art based on the food of Seinfeld...
If you live in San Francisco, head over to Pot & Pantry at 593 Guerrero at 18th to see Rinee Shah's charming series, "Seinfood". Her very reasonably priced prints are grouped pleasingly all over the shop- there are so many to see! The marble rye print is my favorite, with its excellent color scheme and perfectly imperfect type- but there are so many good ones. The black-&-white cookie, a poignant portrait of Monk's Diner, the babka, Drake's coffee cake- what were your favorite food cameos on the show?
"Seinfood" is on display at Pot & Pantry until March 10th - but if you don't live in San Francisco, don't despair. A few prints, including "No Soup For You" and a poignant portrait of Monk's Diner, are available directly from Rinee Shah.
