In honor of this weekend's sold-out Sasquatch! Music Festival at the gorgeous Gorge Amphitheater, just a couple of hours outside Seattle, here’s a sampling of the 60+ band posters created by artists near and far for the famous four-day event.
Silk-screened concert posters don't cost much and make a bold graphic statement in any space. They’re usually numbered, which means you’re taking home a limited-edition piece of art, and they’re a design-savvy way to celebrate your favorite band (or a killer concert) without causing flashbacks to the Tiger Beat tear-outs you tacked to your wall when you were 13 (or was that just me?).
My personal collection includes early Death Cab for Cutie and Shins posters that Sub Pop sent me when I was the editor of a music webzine, and an Arcade Fire poster that everyone in the band signed. My man has a strict rule: Posters must be from concerts he attended. I say if it’s a great piece of art, go for it anyway and wish you’d been there.
If you’re in Seattle and want to check out all the prints in person, swing by Capitol Hill’s Vermillion Gallery before May 29. You can also browse the entire gallery on the official Sasquatch! site.

The Iron & Wine poster would be perfect in my new living room. Can I buy one online, or is this a total pipedream?
We have framed 8 numbered silk screened posters from two of my husbands bands around our house. Four of them are in our sons room and I love looking at them. The artwork is amazing!
If concert posters are your thing, these two (related) sites are amazing.

No contact for John Foster?
I found a couple of different John Fosters and wasn't sure which was right. If you're out there John, please leave your website info and we'll add a link!
Anyone know of a good place to find modern, non-music posters for use in a small apartment? I'm going crazy flipping through countless items on Etsy and elsewhere.
Hi MD1239 -- I keep on eye on this page for great prints: http://blog.2modern.com/category/art-graphics
And here: http://www.velocityartanddesign.com/artwork-c-251.html
And, of course, in the Apartment Therapy archives!
Also, check out Urban Outfitters' print shop:

Big selection, totally affordable prices!
One last thing. My strategy for Etsy is to check the front page often. The best stuff tends to surface there ...
