Every once in a while a product comes out that elevates an everyday object into a piece of art. The Candle Wax Vase is such a piece. This simple concept uses a teardrop shaped glass vase that acts as both a candleholder and a vessel to collect the wax drippings.

The idea is that over time, the layers of wax collected in the base will create a unique layered landscape. The more colorful the candles you choose to burn, the more dramatic the end result. The vessels, made from recycled glass in the Portland studio of Andi Kovel and Justin Parker, come signed by their creator and can be sent in for a new one once they are full.
