A couple of days ago, Apartment Therapy contributor AnnaMaria Stephens posed the question, "Do You Buy Original Artwork?" Well, now is your chance!

If you're in the Seattle area tomorrow, Friday the 9th of September from 6-9pm, stop by Assemble Gallery & Studio for the latest art installation by Scott Scoggin of Slide Sideways, entitled Row Me To The Shore.

"Row Me to the Shore focuses on the interaction of shapes and flat color. The work exaggerates the process of silk screening and cut paper, by which one is constantly thinking about layers. Each piece assembles minimal illustration and typography, sometimes 'collaging' random shapes, to produce a new whole. All work is gouache on paper, and each painting is signed in pencil by the artist." - Slide Sideways

In addition to artwork for your walls, Slide Sideways offers fun accessories for the home as well! Stock up on tea towels, limited edition prints and office supplies all while having a drink and eating homemade "cookie art." I'll be there! Get there early or I'll most likely have eaten all of the cookies.
