Love the pieces of art in the last picture.
They're beautiful, but does the Midwest only consist of Chicago and the Twin Cities?
Can anyone tell me how the photos in the second picture are framed? I love the look of a border-less, unmatted photograph looks but I have no idea how they do it. I have a 20X30 that would look great framed this way.

What are these Twin Cities you speak of? I only know Chicago and downstate...
; )
It's a fine line between "filling up your walls" and creating a cluttered, messy look. We each have to consider how to curate the things that will make us truly feel like our space is home.

I have LightJet prints that are large and dry mounted onto foamcore approx 0.25" thick and the results are nice and flat. using 3M super 77 adhesive, it takes two people and some practice.
You can also use gatorboard, masonite or canvas and placed on masonite.
I've heard great things about http://www.codamount.com/mountboards.htm
they do sell to individuals.
@appledeco
Well yeah b/c they're the only places in the Midwest w/ Ikea, duh! :P
@mediumgrey

The only "Art" I could live with was the second photo. Just because you have art (inherited or cheap) doesn't mean you should hang it. Creative editing makes art stand out instead of looking like a jumbled mess.
@em_470...there's no ikea in the 1st photo/tour ;)
