We've mentioned Matte Stephens here at AT:LA before but we can't help but post some of his newer work on his Etsy Shop to highlight him again. We are just mad for his quirky mid-century style, retro colors and his funny cat and bird motif's that seem to make a regular appearance.

What we love most about his Etsy shop is there is seriously a price point for everyone. From original paintings in the $200 range [some less], to his mid-priced pieces at $50 for limited edition prints, to his $20 price point of gocco prints there is a price point for everyone. This might just be a perfect xmas present source [yes, it is too close for comfort already!]

Matte shows Most of his original art with Velocity art and Design and has just finished doing Illustrations for Heman Miller's SEE Magazine a publication that comes out twice a year.If you would like to follow the man about town a bit more he also has a blog called Matte Art.
