The Gallery: Robert Yeager

We saw the works of artist/photographer Robert Yeager at the CaBoom show and thought his photo collages were worth a mention. These large photo images create an almost abstracted calmness that with closer look reveals what makes Los Angeles great- our spectacular horizon and ocean view.

Of his work, Yeager says, "With photography, I notice the forms and patterns that reveal the magic that is nature and that, for me, create a sense of peace. Recent experiments with Polaroid film emulsions explored the landscape that exists within a sheet of film, resulting in the Chemical Beauty series. The latest images are meditations on the ocean horizon taken over the last year in Venice, California, where I live and work."
