A friend of a friend of a friend opened this quirky shop in Nashville a few years ago, and it has been a growing success ever since. It started in the way all good things do: two people fell in love, travelled a lot, found stuff they liked and shipped it home. Then they sold it all and started over again. Immediately, a business was born.
AshBlue bills itself as "Gifts for the Home," but it has lately become a lot more. Their furniture line of teak and leather pieces are stunning (and the prices good for this kind of work). The Mohair throws above are $150.

This Teak Chair with Arms is $575.

This Campaign Secretaire with leather inlay and fully folding capability is $1978.

This Paris Chair is $2500.

This Teak Pillar is $95.

This Ice Bucket is $146.

This Teak Outdoor Table is $235.

The chair is gorgeous! I love and adore it and wish I had the space in my apartment.
I agree, Terry. Except in my case I wish I had 575$ to spend on an armchair. But it's so nice to see the alternatives to Mid-Century modern, and that chair is a beautiful alternative.
If you like AshBlue you will also love Epiphany Design Studio (2115 8th Avenue South, Nashville, TN). The stores are similar, but Epiphany has lots or unique antique pieces and elegant chandeliers.
