Name: Ashkahn Shahparnia
Location: Silver Lake, California
Size: 500 square feet
Sitting on top of a fashion design showroom, Ashkahn Shahparnia's studio can be picked out by the "hehehe" neon sign blazing in the window. Up there is a fantastic space where artist, Ashkahn, has transformed into an art production studio overlooking a colorful Silverlake neighborhood. With large windows that provide lots of natural light, Ashkahn's studio allows him to paint, photograph, and create all things from album covers to prints to t-shirts and more. The studio is filled with beautiful homewares from places like Hemingway and Pickett and Jonathon Adler, along with Ashkahn's own artwork that adds a personal touch.
Ashkahn's love for funky, colorful artwork and homewares is reflected in his home office studio. From his love for the pink Pantone palette 1767 to his vintage collection of Communication Arts magazines, a visit to his studio definitely sparked much design inspiration in us.
