Im getting ready to move across country from Ohio to Vegas. Sadly the apartment Im going to be moving into is filled wall to wall with new but light carpet beige carpet. I struggle to find many inspiring ideas anyway as for everything I find is laminate, concrete or hardwood. I would love to see a post filled with inspirational ideas of spaces with carpet for us user who aren't lucky enough to be blessed with the others!
Thank you
Hello, I just purchased a leather (ebony) Flight Recliner from DWR. I'm looking for a sofa that would work well with the Flight Recliner. I like the following sofas: (Room and Board) Dean, Reese (although not a huge fan of buttons on seat), and (Mitchell Gold) The Kennedy. Which would work best with the Flight Recliner or do you have other sofas you can suggest. Thanks, Jeff
I found a leather couch and chair that is EXACTLY what I would LOVE to have - the closest to a chesterfield I will ever get in my lifetime. But, the leather is horribly dry and uncared for. It doesn't appear to have actual rips. I think the previous owners simply never conditioned it (or not often enough). The frame/cushions/springs are also fine, the only problem is the leather(seems beyone other posts regarding scratches (this would be a full recondition). Is this worth the trip/work? I have a small apartment, so there will be a lot of furniture shifting/culling if I get these pieces, so I would rather get some good advice first.
Thanks in advance!
Susan
I saw that may comments suggested window film, and I agree it is the best way to go. You get the coverage/privacy you want. Most filter out the UV rays so your furnishings and flooring are protected, and you can create a beautiful decorative focus. I've done a few mock ups of your door with Wallpaper For Windows film in a couple of designs if you'd like to see them. I can't upload them here, but If you'd like I'll email them to you. I'll also post them on google+. https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/111280723423154524568/111280723423154524568/posts
I had asked a question the other day, I received something that told us that you got it. I was wondering if you will contact us to let us know if you are going to post it so people can help us solve our dilema.
