"Astrojet is a rocking chair, or vehicle, or fantasy. It is one of a set of rocking chairs that suggests a fantastic voyage, a journey at the speed of light. The chair, occupied or not, is sculpture and commands attention, it will not be overlooked. ...."

My mother always said, "If you can't say anything nice..."
holy hell
That is one expensive rocking chair. I do like the sketches though.
It would be good to have a photo of this in context (ie. with other furniture around), otherwise, the photo could lead you to see it as about the size of an iron.
$3,000 is a bit pricey, I think.
I withheld a star based on the pretentious description.
I also thought it was an iron. I *might* be able to see this in a child's room... if the pricetag wasn't so ridiculous.
I too thought it was an amazing 1950s iron. As an iron, with an iron-sized price tag, I would totally buy this. As a rocking chair, not so much.
I thought it was an iron - but I'll be honest - I think it's ugly.
Living room: The final frontier.
i can understand the price tag, it looks very labor intensive.
that being said, i think the aesthetic is more fitting in a theme park.
I too believed I was looking at the coolest iron ever.
I thought it was a steampunk inspired iron.
Does it bounce if you put a coin in the slot?
Hah, I thought it was an iron, too! (an ugly iron...)
This is design (and pricing) gone amok.
"...it will not be overlooked."
Just wait.
