It looks like Asus is accepting pre-orders for the Eee PC Keyboard, which is kind of cool. Don't get us wrong, we had our doubts that this PC in a keyboard would ever truly be released, but it's nice to see that it will be available soon for the everyone.

The Eee PC Keyboard was initially expected back in February, however it had been delayed. It's currently available for pre-order on various sites. There is no word yet on the exact release date, but we're expecting it to ship in May or June.

It's got a 5-inch LED multitouch display with 800 480 resolution, it comes with Windows XP Home, 16GB of storage, 3 USB ports as well as HDMI/VGA out ports. The great news is that it has WiFi, so it can connect directly to your home network.

We thought that it would be priced at around $499 but it turns out that it will sell for $599. It's available from Amazon right now. In order for this to work right in a home theater environment, it would need some wireless HDMI or VGA adapters. Those cables tend to be pretty short. The great thing about this is that it integrates a full PC in a keyboard, which is why it is so cool.
