The photos on my walls seem to always be in need of a little straightening. Somehow mysterious forces of nature move them, bump them, or even give them goodnight kisses, and the frames are always a little out of whack. That's why this design idea jumped at me. What a beautiful solution! Own the asymmetry.

This grouping of frames has such a lovely motion to it, and the rope adds a nice touch of rough texture. And when you're living with kids, embracing wonky imperfection really does make a lot of sense. Emmas designblogg has a great tutorial written by Annaleena Karlsson that explains the technique for hanging asymmetric frames, so be sure to head over for all the details and more pretty pictures.
