September is Pets Month at AT! The dog bed shown above is from the DC store Muleh. It has a steel frame coated with polyethylene, and can be used indoors and outdoors. We'd have no problem letting our dog sleep on a designer bed while we have no headboard....
We're often accused of spoiling our pets, but this dog bed is over even our pet budget. The dog bed costs $1,000 and Muleh has a floor model on sale for 40% off. Even with the discount, the dog bed is pricey, but gorgeous!

Is that a real dog? I love it.
P.S. How about a basket from china for a dog bed!
AT this is now 2 dog beds that only McCain and his wife could afford---get real I did not pay that much for my own mattress!!!
OH!!! I get it----you get the dog and the bed for 1k---still too much!
Anyone who would pay that much for a dog bed has more money than sense!
Okay, the style is great but you could always make your own version by getting yourself a nice wicker basket. Spray paint it your desired color and then make a comfy bed with your desired fabric. I just saved $975!
A DIY version of this bed could be achieved by pairing the Ikea PS Svinga chair with a custom sized pet cushion. you would need to make some type of base for it though, as the item is intended to hang from the ceiling. Depending on what type of cushion you purchase, I see this project costing less than $200, friendlier on the wallet than the Muleh dog bed shown. Makes me want to own a dog again!!
I'm with jooly on this!
Interesting bed. I agree with some of the comments above. Surely there is a cheaper version elsewhere. But as most pet owners do, it is your right to pamper your pet. Many people do more for their pet than they do for themselves.
