A small sample of 140 furniture design entries

Our apologies for the late delivery today. We were holed up all morning and early afternoon at the ID Magazine offices, taking part in the judging of their Annual Design Review along with Christopher Mount, Manuel Saez, Holly Hotchner and Bradford McKee.

Bradford typing up our opinions as they come out of our mouths

This is truly a dream come true - spending the day in the offices of our favorite design magazine and getting to bicker for hours about what should and shouldn't get a design award. It is our busman's holiday.

Here are a few pics of the ID offices, which are crammed with products right now.

As for a hot link or hot news, what I have to share is this remarkable post from our European correspondent, Kristin Hohenadel, who did a house tour and then close-up on this Amazing vertigo inducing bookshelf/staircase.

Since it was first posted over a week ago, this post has been on a tear, logging 75,000 pageviews as it got picked up by Reddit, Boing Boing and a number of European news sources. This post is HOT, so if you haven't checked it out along with the full house tour, here's your chance.

Have a great weekend!

Best, Maxwell
