Devoted to passementerie (the French term for ornamental trimmings), VV Rouleaux is the ultimate resource for embellishing home accessories and furnishings (as well as your wardrobe)...
With locations in London and Newcastle (and a fantastic shop in Glasgow), VV Rouleaux stocks more than 5000 articles sourced internationally. Owner Annabel Lewis’ stores have become a go-to destination for stylists, decorators and DIYers wanting to personalize their decor.
Visitors have been known to lose whole afternoons exploring the DIY-inspiring treasure trove of quality lace, tassels, fringe, buttons, bobbles, braids, pompoms, millinery feathers, tie-backs, beaded trimmings, handpainted silk flowers and ribbons in everything from country check to fake leather or snakeskin.
VV Rouleaux’s tartan ribbon or silk flower brooches can be as easily pinned to sofa or bed cushions as jacket lapels, and the store offers whimsical bespoke upholstery -- armchairs covered in multicolored tartan or a row of old movie seats in deep-buttoned antique velvet. It’s a wonderful source for Christmas decorations and decorating ideas. Mail ordering is possible but a bit complicated.

Dreamy products and ideas on VV Rouleaux's Web site.
I was in London last year and stayed near the Marylebone VV Rouleaux. I walked by a half dozen times thinking "I have to stop in there before I leave town". When I finally did go, they were closed. Absolutely gutting. The pictures bring all the despair flooding back!
If you like this shop you'll also like Berwick Street in Soho which has several fabric shops including the famous Borovicks who provide fabric for stage costumes to the nearby theatres. One shop in the street carries vintage french ribbons and some wonderful colours of linen.
