These went beyond the concept of the faux flower. "My Lazy Garden" from Alex Davis was like the memory of an earthly garden for the inhabitants of Mars, sculptural, alluring and slightly unsettling.

I'd always hoped to find some outdoor furniture like this to hopefully reflect some summer sunlight into the dark cavern that is my 1st floor apartment.
I might be searing hot to sit on, but I'd sacrifice comfort for a few indirect rays splashing across my living room...
silvarga - instead of searing your ass some these beautiful chairs, why not use mirrors outdoors. The mirrors could make a patio more "outdoor livingroom"-ish, reflect like into your cavern and you wouldn't blister delicate skin when you wanted to actually sit outside
Could be beautiful, but I think you'd want to use these pieces judiciously. If you put too many together it looks / bizarre and unappealing.
Maybe deep in our shared cultural psyche there is a negative association when too many objects are materialized in such a way... makes me think of the Ice Queen/ Medusa/ King Midas...
At last a tall plant/tree I can't kill off! I think one piece might be a piece of art, too many would be creepy.
