AT Interviews... James Bolosh, HGTV

Over at HGTV, they're getting ready for the second season of their big hit "Design Star", and no one's more excited than VP of Event Programming, James Bolosh.

What do the AT readers want to know about the upcoming season, HGTV, and all things "Design Star" from this chief programming insider?...

Touted as "High Stakes, High Style," and set against the glitter of Vegas, baby, this season brings back host Clive Pearse (with wit and delivery as dry as a Beefeater martini), the familiar Herculean design tasks, and the familiar panel of big-name judges (Vern Yip, Martha McCully of InStyle and flirty fashion glam gal Cynthia Rowley).

It promises tougher tests, tighter races, more talent and all the tightly-timed spectacle we've come to expect from the land that brought us Siegfried and Roy and Showgirls.

And what better test market than Vegas, one of America's fastest growing cities .

Are we in for a treat, or a lot of hot glue slapped up fast in McMansions? James has his opinions... and, no doubt, he's willing to bet the house.

We are pleased as punch to have this ADVANCE chance to talk to James about the season, and we'll see what our wiley ways can charm out of him about the show that made talented and tattooed design hunk David Brumstadt well, a more famous talented and tattooed hunk.

Plus, each week, once the show starts, we'll be interviewing the latest cast member sent home packing. How cool is that? Well, for us. Not so much for them.
