John Christakos (pic below), one of the founders of Blu Dot, has offered to host us at the new SoHo Blu Dot showroom while he's in town for ICFF. He'll share with us just what makes good design good, tell us how he started out and take all your questions.....
Please join us for this very special evening and please RSVP if you plan to come on our Meetup page so we know how many to buy drinks for.

I wish I could be there-hopefully someone can ask why he feels he needs to produce their collection in China??
Any plans to offer a wider choice of fabrics on their upholstered furniture? Not everyone wants green, brown or grey...
my guess is that if blu dot did NOT produce their stuff in china, you and others would be commenting that AT should not feature blu dot because their stuff is so expensive.
They cant offer more choice, beacuse of the fact they produce overseas.
I disagree on the price issue-there are alot of great small manufacturers who offer North American made product with hundreds of fabric choices at the very comparable prices.
Plain and simple Blu Dot-Gus, all these guys are just about marketing an image
