When I saw this image of a billboard promoting water conservation in Denver, I knew I needed to share.
It's so clever. And the visual impact of that tiny little square really says it all. I wouldn't mind a print of that billboard in our living room, reminding me to use/buy/consume only what I need. (Especially around the holidays!)
Water usage aside, it's a great reminder as the holidays approach. For me, the holidays are a time when I always end up using more than I need. I suppose it's how I was raised -- December was the one time of the year when we threw all caution to the wind. We ate too many cookies, bought too many presents (and wrapped them in too much paper), and spent way too much time at the mall.
I've gotten better as I've gotten older, and this year I've promised myself to really tone it down.
What are you doing to spend/use/consume less this holiday season.
