Favorite colors keep changing. Last year the most popular color for interiors as evidenced by our 2006 Fall Colors Contest was green, particularly lime green. This year that color seems to have faded into the background a bit. The strongest colors we've seen here at ATNY seem to be blues and browns, but we'd like to know what you think. Consider this our own informal color marketing report. (Pic: 2006 - Becca's They Doubted Me But Color Made Them See The Light)

It's not blue. It's that deep teal color that's everywhere.
Last year I saw a LOT of the brown/blue combo, from summer to fall, and this year I've seen A LOT of lime green in design, not so much on walls. I think both of them look great and will last for another year or so, then something new should come along; just like the iPod white was present in EVERY major product these last 2-3 years and now it's slowly giving way to girlier, more elaborate styles and in case of electronics, stainless steel and fewer buttons.
I think it's still definitely green, but a darker, browner shade. More chartreuse than lime. I'm actually going to pick up a few gallons of green paint this weekend!
I'd say the greenish-blue "peacock" color is near the top of the list.
I agree with Chris M on the teal color. I also feel like there's been a lot of orange.
Chocolate brown. Often paired with the orange, lime, and blues.
Orange! Why isn't orange on the list?
Blue green and brown, just like the Martha Stewart banner ad on the right side. Plus orange like AT book AD right under.
Orange and teal (peacock). Also, orange and red paired with blue.
Celery green and chartreuse are well-represented this year also.
I thought pink was gonna be the big color this year, and I was totally wrong. Oh well...maybe next year.
Based on the Smallest Coolest contest, I'd say white-on-white(-on-white) is still pretty strong.
Orange... from tangerine to tomato. Loving it!
Peacock teal, no question!
Also, bright limey green charcoal gray (together).
Orange

Orange is definitely my color of 2007 (and beyond).
Based on the Color Contest I'd say it's a close one between orange and blue.
orange!!!!
Your survey is a fantastic idea, but it needs to include all the colors, like Orange. Pantone and other color forecasting groups predicted this color would be very hip in 2007. I'd say, they've been pretty on the mark so far!

Teal
I said other because orange is really everywhere; not sure why that's not on the list, because it was pretty high up on the list of ones last year, too.
If you really want to know what the color of 2007 was in this contest, get Wende on it, because she's amazing at actually calculating trends and stuff. Wehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhnde! oh Wehhhhhhhnde?
Orange, orange, orange!
I actually think orange has jumped the shark. I have orange accent walls-two walls that wrap around a corner - that I inherited from the previous occupant over 3 years ago and I'm getting tired of it because it's everywhere. It was already big 3 years ago too. So, yes, orange is a favorite and everyone seems to have it, but that probably means everyone's about to get tired of it too.
orange
White on white.
Orange was last year. Red, the year before. This year, I believe green has made a redemption. I'm seeing shades of blue start creeping in for trends for next year. :p
teal, oh lovely teal, paired with yellow or orange.
Yellow is definitely the "it" colour this year. As I predicted ;-)
