Over the weekend, we attended DIFFA's DINING BY DESIGN 2008 event at the L.A. Mart Design Center. We got a chance to see some amazing, fashion-forward tablescapes, in support of raising funds for fighting AIDS. Talented designers were commissioned to create fresh table settings featuring must-have furniture, furnishing and tabletop collections. There were over 20 stunning displays that were colorful, innovative and over-the-top. We had a great time checking everything out - here are a few of our favorites after the jump...
We love this table design, including the mirrored wall tiles and elegant yet simple paper lanterns.

This was the most colorful and creative table top, with the walls comprised of paint samples via Benjamin Moore.

The stunning glass chandelier was a gorgeous arrangement over this beautifully designed table.
The red Sherrill wing back chair at the head of the table was the perfect anchor to this rose filled tabletop.
This table had a simple chicness to it. We really like the square chairs and square table with the square projected image of the movie.

We like the simple centerpieces of a flower in a tinted glass. We have seen this before and it was nice to see it in interpreted in the garden setting of the colorful table.

We thought this table was serene and elegant. The white shades were a perfect canopy to the dark wood table and brass dishware.
