Do you love writing and design in equal measure? Do you live in the Bay Area or points North? Well it just so happens we're looking for one more voice to add to our team, and we want to know if it's yours.
This is a part-time job, starting at one post a day and amping up eventually to three. Unlike many blogs we DO pay. Not much though, so it's critical that you have a life and an income outside of blogging. And it's great (but not required) if it's one that plugs you in to the design world in some way.
Deadline: Monday, July 2nd (all info below the jump)
You need:
- a good eye for design
- some free time everyday
- a good computer
- a totally reliable high speed connection

- a good knowledge of how to use all these things
AT's Mission: helping everyday people create beautiful, organized, healthy homes by blogging resources, building community, providing inspiration, reviewing products, and tracking the news.

Long time lurker first time poster :)
What kind of sample post were you looking for? Posts like you could find on this site or something along the lines of a review?

great!
By "points North" are we talking northern San Francisco or more like Portland, Seattle?
I've been dying for a Portland portal forever. (I wrote the ATNY folks in late 2005, but didn't hear a response.) I've a keen eye for quality and aesthetics and would love to get my circle of style-conscious design and decor fiends (many of them writers and designers) on board.
If only I wasn't moving to Omaha in 4 weeks. Any Midwest bloggers needed?
AT:SF also covers the Pacific Northwest (as best we can from a distance), so submissions from Portlanders, Seattleites, etc., are welcome!
(aestheticonion, AT:Chicago covers the Midwest. They just hired new bloggers, but keep an eye on their site -- AT is growing quickly, so you never know when they'll be looking for more people.)
True Boomer, but close enough. Eds ~ please please pick a NWer (psst... seattle) for the job!
