This entire house just floored me. But then again, I'm a sucker for mostly white interiors. By the time I made it to the photos of the attic bedroom, it was clear this was love:
This bedroom does some very cool things with awkward attic details. The bed is tucked back into a dormer. The very low space at the edges of the attic is fit out with a raised platform that could be used like an end table (as in the second image) or bedside table (first image).

White Enamel Four-P...
Love the use of space, and the airiness of these rooms, but waaay to stark for me. I can appreciate it, but my my materialistic inner self says 'stuff makes me happy'.
i would never leave this room.
This is a great-looking room. As a person who has an attic bedroom, though, I would guess that the space is deceptively small, particularly for someone like me who is 6ft+. Those angled ceilings really cut into the usable space, and crawling in and out of that bed would get old pretty quickly!
Where are the pics of the rest of the house?
I have an attic bedroom too, and they've been smarter than me by far... the armoire is the thing that needs the height, not the sleepers.
Time to re-work at my place. That is soooo appealing!
I could never be comfortable sleeping in that alcove - It's like a cave...
...and I don't see the need to put it in there - This is a huge room - I'd put the bed out in the main section with the split-flue chimneys as the "headboard"
wow, what a link (ref to '1st option') i could actually feel my pupils enlarging...
I'm used to low ceilings, but not low, sloping ceilings. It would take time to get comfortable if I were to sleep here. It looks interesting, though.
Feels too monastic for me, although it's attractive in a "I could never live there" way...
My husband and I started our couple life in an attic apartment..I am 5'8" and slammed my head more times than I can count, no amount of white paint would get me back there, the actual usable space is limited limited yikes...photos look great but the reality is something else. Much as I loved our landlords they have their attic back!
Is Tuesday good for you?
Seriously, very well done. Don't touch a thing. And when will people realize, or educate themselves, that simplicity and/or minimalism IS a style. I'd love to see what they've done with the rest of the spaces.
This is the second time I remember this house on AT (the first was in a British magazine I believe) and it's still my all-time favorite. It's nice to see different views of the place than the rather limited previous photo spread gave.
