We are always intrigued by artists workspaces - we love how some are happily cluttered with tools, media and inspiration while others are the very definition of pristine streamlined organization. Today we got a look at a painting studio that looks wonderfully lived in and personal - it belongs to the painter Audrey Kawasaki.
The photos above are from Audrey's LiveJournal - she posted them yesterday as part of a sneak peek at her upcoming solo show at the Jonathan Levine Gallery opening this Saturday in NYC.
We can imagine how nice it would be to paint in this studio - large enough to spread out many of the in-progress pieces to view while working, a dark, quiet color on the walls, the computer close by for breaks, inspiration and communication, a well-placed industrial light to snap on when the light starts to go...it looks like a loved workspace.
