Elle Décoration visits the home of Aurélie Mathigot, a Paris-based artist who makes enchanting crocheted furniture and accessories. Her penchant for all that is precious and retro is tempered with sober black paint and industrial furniture for a very personal look...
Even Parisians sometimes have a bit of nostalgia for the postcard Paris of yesteryear...

Aurélie keeps yarns for her creations out in the open, stacked beautifully on a vintage steel cabinet.

The matte black paint from the bedroom is reprised here in the bathroom, with a pretty vintage chandelier and twin medicine kit chests on the wall.

Must be nice to live in one giant vignette.
I REALLY love the lighting in the first picture.
kosmicfreeway - Habitat in the uk had something very similar about a year ago. (possibly even the same)

Yes, the light is from Habitat and was designed by Tse & Tse.
By the way, the branch chandelier on GOOP is by Tord Boontje.
The Habitat light fixture costs about 80 euros -- not at all in the same price range.
