Name: Aurelien and Eugenie
Location: Lyon, France
We got a super fun email from France this week: Hi there, I'm following your blog, everything you post is a source of inspiration…
I thought sharing some pictures of my apartment would be interesting as its located in a typical old building in Lyon from the XVIIIth century. All the apartments of the building were silk factories called "Canut", the high celling was used to hang looms. About furniture, we really dig 50/60's style!
Thanks, Aurelien and Eugenie!

Aurélien, Eugénie : J'apprécie votre intérieur. Cela ressemble à un grand studio et pourtant, il semble être spacieux. Quelle est sa superficie ? Sinon, bravo !
I appreciate the way Aurélien and Eugénie organized their apartment. It is fresh, bright and authentic. It looks like a wide studio yet spacious. I wonder how wide it is. Great find!
chouette!
tres jolie! j'adore! :)
The apartment is fantastic! (... is there a different way to say "has great bones", I am personally very tired of that phrase, just as I am tired of saying a clear lucite/acrylic piece "takes up no visual space"....) The bedroom area is pretty great. No building requirements for handrails for stairs in your city/country?
Super!
Very nice! More pics please.
We need a tour please, I felt like its just such a small glimpse.
PLEASE....a tour!
Jealous and happy for a peek. Going to pretend I live there and make up stories about it in my head.
Hey thanks a lot every one ! I haven't noticed that my photos was online !!!
I sent more photos to AT but I guess that they wasn't good enough to be posted (I'm not professional photographer, so...).
Cyril > Thanks mate, our flat is a around 60 square meters in open space, we only have toilets and bathroom closed.
Lepidoptery > Yes we have requirements in France in order to secures home spaces but I guess that the landlord (I'm tenant here) didn't care about them when he did the works... But you're right, a handrail might be helpful as it's a bit dangerous when you wake up in the morning !
Nonie > Here we have 4,30/4,50 meters ceilings, I can't imagine now to live in an apartment that have "regular" height ceiling...
