Stylish and storage-minded, we are impressed with DucDuc's Austin line of furniture for kid's rooms. While we saw a sneak peak at the Arch Digest Show, nothing beats seeing the whole line.
Above, the Austin Bed. Made of 100% sustainably harvested hardwoods, this bed accommodates 4 storage cubbies underneath it, or a trundle, if you don't need the extra drawers. The whole line comes in a range of colors and wood finishes, which serve as a foil for the white. $1,345.00. More from the Austin line, below.
The Austin desk comes in 2 different heights, depending on the size of the user. A clever design feature is built in - an optional entertainment package, with built-in Altec-Lansing speaker system and connection for computer or ipod. $795.00. Also shown, the Austin Chair, $225.00.
The Austin Crib features fixed side rails for added stability and has four mattress-height settings for easy reach. With a convesion kit (extra), this crib converts to a toddler bed. $1,295.00.

The Austin 4 Drawer Dresser. Simple and modern, the dresser also functions as a standard-height changing table. $1,595.00.
Also in the Austin line, a 3 drawer dresser, and a very slick looking credenza.

Yes, Ducduc has great products. Good luck actually receiving them. They quote a 12-14 week turn around on most of their furniture. I ordered a crib and 16 weeks later, still no crib and no update from Ducduc. I spent a week calling and emailing to no avail. Finally someone emailed me to let me know they would begin assembling my crib the following week and ship it the week after that. With shipping, I was looking at minimum 20 weeks.
I have read many other accounts online from people with similar Ducduc experiences. Until they figure out their customer service and manufacturing issues I would not recommend them.
