Simplicity and beauty are exemplified in these vessels made out of 70% flour, 20% agricultural waste, and 10% natural limestone. Vegetables, spices and roots are used to create the different hues in the bowls, vases and lamps.

Based in The Netherlands, design firm Formafantasia was founded by Italian designers, Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin.

The process of making the objects comes from Sicilian tradition. The materials are either naturally dessicated or low-temperature baked and are made internally waterproof with a combination of beeswax and pine tar.
