The line between masculine and austere may often be a difficult one to distinguish -- especially when dealing with a nursery. Graphic and Web designer, Courtney Zielinski, has managed to pull together a look for her son's room that is both masculine yet warm and inviting.

Known for her colorful clothing, Spanish designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada incorporates suns, stars, flowers, moons and hearts into most of her work resulting in a whimsical look that doesn't take itself too seriously. We love how she has translated the look of her clothing into housewares and furniture, too, perfect for a child's room.

We have a friend who is constantly complaining about how messy her child's booster seat gets. Her solution to this was to purchase Clek Olli's booster seat so she could easily switch out the covers. She uses one, washes one.

As we begin to set up our garden for the floral season – spring has sprung, indeed – we find that our children are often as excited if not more so than we are to get their hands in the dirt and begin sprouting their little green thumbs.

Wow! Now that's hard core closet storage. Every now and then we wonder if we should invest in an Elfa closet storage system.

There must be something in the spring air which inspires teens to want to redecorate their room. Our 17-year-old niece has awoken from her winter funk and decided she needs a change STAT. We saw our neighbor's son dragging his old futon mattress to the curb declaring, "My room needs a new vibe!"

We love a good remodeling project. There is such a wonderful feeling when you first begin and you are filled with a million "What ifs.." Wren’s nursery was recently remodeled and it definitely shows us that the “after” will always beat up the “before.”
