Of Brooklyn's legions of young artists, many stand out. Dan Bina (pronounced bee-na) is one of them. If you follow his work, he really gets your eyes and brain moving. His work ranges from cool crisp geometric abstract painting to photorealist paintings and culturally laden collages.

Let's look back on some of our favorite Space Saving How Tos. We've had so many over the years, I've put together a smattering that cater to all shapes and sizes of apartments and homes.

For whatever odd reason, the Craigslist gods threw me a bone on Monday: my dream sofa was listed. Everyone who knows me knows I love leather sofas. And the Borge Mogensen 3-seater IS my dream of all dreams. And it was listed on Monday. And for a crazy reasonable price. And guess what, I got it!

Small Cool 2012 is finally here and we're excited to see small, stylish reader homes from around the world. Small apartments and houses let your creative juices flow and we've seen some amazing ways to utilize even the teeniest spaces over the years. Dear Apartment Therapy readers: I've got a question for you. Do you own a box spring? I'm looking for a new bed and it seems like box springs might be a thing of the past. With major retailers like West Elm, IKEA, and CB2 all featuring platform style beds, I'm wondering if I need a box spring at all.

Fellow renters, I've got a down and dirty question for you about the bathroom...

If you're anything like me, taking your camera off the auto setting can be mildly terrifying. And don't even get me started on photoshop. Sometimes I want someone to just hold my hand through the process of shootings, editing and photoshopping so I can get in and get out and feel more comfortable (and have great images). And that's exactly what this new one day workshop is all about.

This weekly column, headed by her crafty assistant Alex, offers up super easy DIYs like colorful chicken wire vases and pom-pom wearing straws. Cross your fingers guys, I think I might have found my dream apartment. After spending countless hours on craigslist, westsiderentals, and aimlessly driving around looking for For Rent signs, I stumbled upon a decently priced, spacious one bedroom. It's not in perfect condition, in fact, it needs to be re-painted and given a thorough cleaning, but it has everything I wanted--great/safe neighborhood, utilities are included, and the building is pet friendly. Bonus...there are exposed brick walls in the living and bedroom!
