9-5-08 amy lau 2.jpgIt's no secret that we here at Apartment Therapy are big fans of SF-based artist Rex Ray. His colorful, biomorphic work is captivating and, we've always found, inspiring. It seems we're not the only ones who glean inspiration from his work, as this apartment attests to.

We are getting a kick out of these old posters from the Works Progress Administration. Some are pretty funny (see "MILK: For Summer Thirst"), others are quite beautiful, and all offer a glimpse at American life during the 1930s and 40s.
