11-26-08houseboat.jpgOne of our fellow ATers (is that what we're called?) has taken on the task of remodeling a houseboat. Not only are we way jealous, but it's since made us more interested in houseboat life. So, imagine our surprise when we were rummaging through Flickr and stumbled upon this great photo of two modern houseboats in Seattle. They look like the prefab houses you see in Dwell magazine!

11-24-08neutral.jpgHere at AT, we're always going on about how wonderful and fantastic it is to live with color. That's very true, and we decorate our interiors with the same philosophy in mind: color, color, color. With that said, perhaps we haven't given enough attention to the calmer palette of neutrals.

11-24-08waterlogged.jpgWe love our houseplants. All 27 of them. Because of this (and our teeny tiny apartment), we like to buy watering cans that don't look like they belong outdoors in a shed. So, imagine our delight when we stumbled upon this kitschy watering can from Fred & Friends.

11-21-08chart.jpgWe're big fans of local architects David Baker + Partners. So much that we often find ourselves looking through their online portfolio when we're in a pinch for some inspiration. So when we found this exterior shot that uses our favorite color for a door color (and how perfect is it with those plants?), we got really excited.

11-20-08wowza.jpgMy favorite part of the Elle Decoration blog is that they'll often post photos that are amazing and beautiful, but that didn't make the cut for the printed edition. Like the shot above (and after the jump!), which they've coined as having a "retropolitan" look. We agree!

11-19-08queenet.jpgWe were lurking around the housewares section of Etsy and we stumbled upon these great Queen pillows from Etsy seller karenhiltondesigns.

10-19-08headphones.jpgWe had never heard of Frank Plant before he added us as a contact on Flickr, and boy, were we missing out. Frank is an artist who works in steel and often times is bending it into peculiar forms, like the giant headphones you see above.

11-18-08scatmain.jpgWhen we saw this sideboard from Tema, we realized we weren't quite over the lasercutting obsession that hit design a few years back. Thankfully, this sideboard seems way more simple (in its aesthetic) than the majority of other lasercut furnishings.
