We don't often go to books for interiors ideas, but - oddly enough - Babies Rooms: from zero to three has us changing our minds about that. A new book from Ryland Peters, Babies Rooms by Judith Wilson is a beautifully photographed guide to decor for children and babies rooms, BUT it is refreshingly adult in its taste and does not cater to the Romper Room school of design.

You will find a host of simple ideas here that will get you thinking. We love the idea of using the Eames coat hanger in the bathroom (below) for towels, moving back to fun wallpaper and this bold use of both color and vintage furnishings.

This is a visual feast for the eyes, and when you are done with it ALL of their sources are carefully listed in the back (mainly NY and London).
