Name: Baby Callen (due August)
Location: Clarksville, TN
We are a military family and move often, but I could not pass up the opportunity to design a nursery for our first baby girl. I used the ferris wheel mural as my inspiration for the nursery, though I did not want a themed room.
I drew colors from the mural, and highlighted the turquoise throughout the room. With the use of the mural and removable wallpaper, I avoided having to paint the room.

Nomade Express Slee...
Awesome! One of the best kids rooms I've seen on this site. It is stylish yet caters to a kid's interests.
And the hand painted doorknob??? Someone has too much time on his or her hands. :)
I love the colors and that mural! Congratulations on your new baby girl :-)
I stand corrected on the "handpainted doorknob". I guess the person who had too much time on his or her hand worked in a factory. Still very impressive.
I love this! So unusual-- definitely one of the best kids' rooms I've seen.
Awesome! Totally love it!
I rarely even care about a kid's room, let alone want to comment on it, but this is over the top wonderful! I love it's quirky sweetness.
Adorable! Beautiful and fresh.
A-freaking-dorable. Where is the crib from??? Love it!
Stunning! One of the best EVER :D
I just looked up the mural..did you cut it in half? Looks fantastic!!!
Great room. We have those curtains in my son's room. They make me happy.
i maybe in minority here but actually love everything about the room excep tthe mural. Its a bit too much for me.
oh.my.word. That room is fantastic!
My 11 yr old daughter's response:
"Oh my goodness! That's a baby's room?! That is amazing!"
I think she wants to move in w/ you now. ;)
Great job!! I think the ferris wheel mural really puts the stamp on the room.
the curtains!!!!! love!
What a lovely room. I love the not-pink room for a girl. I'm doing a whimsical outdoorsy thing for my first daughter and my mom has been giving me such a hard time over not going pink. She's going to be sharing a room with her older brother after all!
i think this room is fantastic. the mural and the wallpaper are unexpected and different. and i LOVE that it's not covered in pink and those tacky packaged crib bedding sets. what a fun room for your new baby! i will note though, if i see another eames rocker in another nursery tour, i just might pull my hair out.
LOVE!! This room is so beautiful from that stand out mural to the curtains and wallpaper. My only change up would be tan walls to white but that's just me.
The crib is from Walmart. My 4yo and 2yo have both used it, so it is well-loved. I custom-ordered the mural to fit the wall. It arrived in three pieces which were easily fit together. Thank you for your questions and comments.
Oh Wow! That looks fantastic. You have a gift, or maybe all of those moves have provided you with plenty of practice. I'm dying to see what your other rooms look like.
Oh wow! That is great -- I love it!
I LOVE this room! Especially the mural. Though for some reason it kind of gives me vertigo to look at it.
Mural is truly amazing. Just checked out the website...what installation technique did you use? I am also a renter and the smartstick solution seems a little too good to be true. Does it really stick that well?
Loving the doorknob! :-)
I don't have children and yet I love this room! LOL It's the Ferris Wheel mural of which I'm most jealous. Just had to bookmark the Mural's Your Way site - very cool!
As another military family I know about the moves:) Job well done! Looks fantastic!!!
This is a very cute room!
I love everything about this room! The (light?) with the cord hanging by the crib is giving me chest pains, however. Please don't hang anything with cords near the crib! Your daughter is going to love her room- it is beautiful! :)
PIXITRIX, the smartstick mural is similar to contact paper. It's on the thinner side and has a peel-and-stick installation. It is very easy to reposition, allowing removal of any air pockets. It adheres wonderfully to the wall, though only time will tell how the wall and mural will hold up after a year or more.
SUNNYMOM, the cord on the wall near the crib belongs to the baby monitor. It is anchored to the wall with 3M clear cord clips. But your point is well-taken, when the baby is mobile, the monitor may need to be relocated.
@Erin Kirby: The Eames rocker is PERFECT for nurseries. No wonder their always in them! Most nurseries are small rooms, so these chairs are scale and they provide the seating/rocking needed for the actual use of the room. Sorry to disagree, but I think the chair deserves more credit than just its design. (And yes, I also have one...) ;)
*they're. ;)

Congrats on your new little one!
Wow. Will they adopt me so that I can call dibs and make that room mine????? I'd sleep in the crib if need be!
This is beautiful. I'm curious about the empty picture frames - is it just a decorator thingy or will they be filled with pictures of future memories?
Beautiful nursery. Love the colours and the accessories and everything about the room. Really wonderful job, it shows so much love and happiness to come.
This room rocked my socks off! Absolutely stunning!
That is by far one of my most favorite nursery, i love the fact that it "doesn't" have a theme and ferris wheel is such a "neutral" theme....i can't get over how much i love this mural! Its perfect :)
Love this! Mural is awesome. Door knob too. Those curtains are some of my favorites as well!
Like some of the design here.
