Check out the unique texture created in this North London restaurant — the tiles on the wall were applied back-to-front, showcasing the various grids and grooves of the ceramic tiles...

The tile is found at the restaurant Barrio North and the interior was designed by Anarchitect.

It looks gorgeous, but how well does the tile adhere to the wall without the texture to hold the glue?
Still, really gorgeous!
They kind of look like chocolate bars.
that looks really cool. I wish they hadn't also introduced all that other tile work into the mix - it just makes it too busy, and takes away from the beauty of the reversed tiles. That first pic above showcasing them alone looks awesome.
Euw, don't like it myself, reminds me of the chipped and somehow dusty biscuits left over from the mandatory Christmas selection box, in my granddad's biscuit tin... never a good look, doubly when it involves anything to do with food!
