Bad Movie, Good Set: Refurbed Subway Signs

Bad Movie, Good Set: Refurbed Subway Signs

I'd like to say that I first spotted these vintage subway signs at a hole-in-the-wall thrift shop tucked away in Hollywood, but unfortunately, I would be lying. It was Sunday, I was hungover, and I was watching "Monster-In-Law" on HBO. And the movie kinda really sucked, but I couldn't stop thinking, "Damn! That bathroom! I want that bathroom! That kitchen! Those signs! Ugh, is JLo really painting the kitchen with Laura Ashley roses? And is Michael Vartan really that much of a doormat?" (For the record, Jane Fonda and Wanda Sykes were quite good).

After much hunting around, I found this shop on eBay that sells authentic vintage signs that are similar--if not pretty damn close to the real deal. All the signs are restored and custom-framed, and the shop even accepts offers if the Buy It Now price is out of your price range.
