LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Baggus! Always keep a couple in my purse for spur of the moment shopping trips. You can fit at least 2 sometimes 3 plastic bags worth of groceries in each one. Plus you can throw them in the washing machine! I have 9 of them right now but tempted to buy more in their new colors.

BTW, although the little pouches are cute...I tend not to use them. They just get in the way. The bags scrunch down to such a compact size on their own.

Last week my car, where I kept my collection of reusable bags was stolen, so this post is perfectly timed! I need some bags I can keep in my purse (bring it on purse-snatcher, I'm ready this time).

Are the pouches separate? I think I'd lose them. I did place an order for 3, just to try them. Though right now I'm using Envirosax and liking them a lot.

I have three I keep in my purse and recently bought my mom three. I keep them in their bags/little packages. It's easy not to lose the package if after you take the bag out you throw the package inside before you put your groceries in. Baggu's were actually one of the first reusable bags I saw on the market (back when they were just taking pre-orders) They are great and I'm so glad I bought some. I have cut down our household plastic bag intake by about 95%. Now if I could only get the man to carry one around in his pocket....

Love the idea of reusables that fold into such small squares, but are these really green? I don't think so... they're made from nylon and shipped from China.

I love my Green Valley reusable bags--they're the cheapest I could find and man, they're sturdy. A bag like this, though, would make me feel a little better at places like the mall. I feel a little dorky carting the GV bag with me.

I have a bunch of Baggus and love them - although I wish the storage bag was integrated into the main bag, like the ones that Flip and Tumble make (www.flipandtumble.com). Has anyone ever used the Flip and Tumble bags?

Nesser - I have a flip and tumble and I love it! It's very durable, and it is really handy to have the pouch built in. I just carry the little ball around in my backpack - it's always easy to find in there, and carries a good load of groceries and what have you.

Seriously, I love Baggu bags SO much! I purchased three this year to start my "no more plastic bags" life, and they are amazing! They're so strong (I once bought $100. worth of groceries, and every bit of it fit in three bags! They weighed a ton, but I was so impressed! And they're so strong!)

Plus I see these as being bags the guys would use. I have the smoke color, and they're this deep grey, very manly (well, I think they are) and I just think everyone should get some! They rock!

I use Envirosax and love the various graphic options they have. (They also sell them in pouches of 4 at a time as an option.) I find the length of the straps to be just right for putting over your shoulder, but still short enough to hold multiple bags with your arms at your side. The Flip and Tumbles and the Baggus look great too - I'll have to check them out.

I simply adore BAGGU bags -- I use them for groceries of course, but also one as a gym bag, another for taking books back to the library, another for carrying extra shoes in and out of my car (don't ask -- I can never decide which shoes to wear), etc etc. The shape is smart and the material is super durable. PLUS the colors are awesome. I particularly like the blue and white striped one -- can't wait for more patterns

I actually like that the little pouches aren't attached to the bags. I roll the bags up and stick 4-5 of them in one pouch for large grocery trips and then I have one in my purse for emergencies. They really do hold a lot of groceries, I have once used 5 of them for an entire cart full of groceries.

I know the fabric isn't the most ecofriendly, but if it's something you're going to use for a long time that keeps you from having more plastic bags, I think it's worth it. They're nylon so that they can hold more, are lightweight, are compact, and are less prone to ripping. I love them, and have given them as gifts and the receivers are always thrilled.
