Kids love working with their hands, and they actually feel like they're cooking all by themselves. Afterwards, they can set up a little stand and give out their "baked goods". You will need:

For the dough:
1 cups of flour
2 cups of oats
1 cup of water
A bowl and wooden spoon

For play:
Playdough tools (blunt knives, cookie cutters, rolling pin etc)
Paper patty pans
Cheap coloured cake decorations (sprinkles, hundreds ‘n’ thousands, etc)
Scraps of paper
Cardboard boxes of various sizes
