Green Screens from Bamboo

Looking for a room divider? What's not to love about one made out of bamboo! Here are a few options to choose from.

Made of sustainable bamboo, which can grow up to three meters in a day, these screens are a more green way to decorate your home. See our previous article, "Why it's Green: Bamboo".

Pictured above, and previously seen on Re-Nest, the Gaim's Bamboo Screen is made from eco-friendly, pesticide-free bamboo. It conforms to any space, then rolls neatly away when not in use. It is treated with a nontoxic water-based finish.

The Yin-Yang Bamboo Panel is created without use of any formaldehyde based glues and do not employ child labor and can be found at TheNestStore.

The Take Room Divider is a more traditional screen and can be found at OrientalFurniture.

Or if you're feeling crafty, I'm sure you could make your own. This book on "How To Build With Bamboo", would be a great start.

Find any green screens recently? We'd love to hear about it!
