This little piggy went to market and this little piggy went to the Coinstar machine. When our family emptied our piggy bank at a local Coinstar machine not long ago, my son delighted in pouring in the coins and watching it add up ($224!). He has his own piggy bank and this definitely reinvigorated his interest in saving. And what better time than January for kids to resolve to start saving their pennies and dimes? Here, twenty banks, piggy and otherwise, to get them started.

Lots of pretty banks. I choose a clear bank with divided compartments for my kids to learn to manage their money and set savings goals. Ours is the Money Savvy Pig, but there are other similar brands.
A child's piggy bank designed to look like magic mushrooms?
Great! Our most favorite bank here at our house and to give as gifts is this great tin globe bank which I am surprised is not listed: http://www.landofnod.com/a-world-of-cents-bank/f7729. I ordered a bunch to have on hand for birthdays to make the shipping worth it. Also on Amazon but costs more.
I love my son's piggy bank. It's a pig dressed as a punk rocker. I bought it for next-to-nothing at Target a few years ago, in the post-Halloween clearance.
I own number 2 (hare) & 4. Love them both!
