Other children of the 70s will likely remember the Barbapapas, the family of shape-shifting, environmentally minded blobs that populated books and cartoons. The simple, fun forms and colors of the Barbapapas seem fresh as ever. We found loads of new and vintage Barbapapa toys online, and here are a few favorites:
- Barbapapa Figurines - Wünder Time, $9.95 each
- Barbamama Piggy Bank - Amazon, $34.95
- Barbapapa Family Fat Quarter - Etsy, $3
- Barbapapa Plastotoy - Amazon, $53.12
- Barbapapa Wooden Baby Car - Happy Goodies, €20.90

Absolutely love Barbapapa. H&M has a cute children's Barbapapa clothing line as well (socks, underwear, and t-shirts).

We live in Paris and my kids *love* Barbapapa. I was wondering why they have not had such a resurgence in the States, but apparently it is underway. Hooray.
Here also 3 great barbapapa lovers! I've got a barbapapa nightlight in my toddlers room and it is so friendly and cute, with this smile, there is no fear at night. :)
Wonderful! My two-year-old is obsessed with Barbapapa. And I love that I can make him watch it in six different languages. (If only they would release them on DVD...)
And we, too, love the H&M Barbapapa t-shirts. But I'm so glad to know where I can get the figurines. They'll make great stocking stuffers.
Are the H&M barbapapa T's available in NYC?
Thanks for the links!
I grew up with the books and my son loves them too. We watch Barbapapa episodes on You tube in all languages:) Here are few games that my 4yo likes to play in english:

Also you can buy kids plates from Huset.
Elle78, I bought long sleeve T-shirts in the Fall from H&M(in NJ) but haven't been to the store since. I hope they still carry them.
