Name: Barbara Cannizzaro & Larry Racioppo
Location: Rockaway Beach — Queens, New York
As a designer, I am fortunate to work with many wonderful clients to help them realize their personal vision as they renovate their homes.
I often try out products/ideas in my own little house by the ocean here in Rockaway before I suggest them to my clients — and so my house is an idea lab/office as well as a place to relax and recharge.
I share the house with my photographer husband and both of us are inveterate street 'collectors' and garbage pickers extraordinaire!
Thanks Barbara & Larry!

Where is the "Rockaway" sign from? It's really cool.
The cable doughnuts are a great idea but very distracting. Can they be anchored underneath the table somehow? Especially the one in the foreground. I like the kitchen though. I have always liked lamps in the kitchen.
I'd love to see a full tour :)

Finally, a post that references the stylish people from Queens! Yes, we do exist!
I love the apartment. A great sense of whimsey and wit. Would love to see more.
I'm from Queens, and do love it, so I hate to be a downer, but... shouldn't it be "purposefully"? And isn't the expression generally "intentionally left blank"? Great concept, though. Would definitely like a house tour.
Hi Kushkush,
'purposely left blank' is the phrase on the last blank sheets of some bank statements --- and that's what I referenced!
Let's have a house tour! Eclectic mix, and a nice relaxed feeling. Would love to see more!
Super! Love the color scheme and overall design. Are you on the beach? Would love to see full tour - inside and out!
Fantastic! I love the colors (especially the green stairs!) and the special local details. Thank you for sharing!
Looks fantastic, and a very cohesive flow to everything. Thanks for giving us a peak at your place. I'd love to see more - a house tour would be great.
