BDDW is a small American furniture company creating timeless, well-crafted designs. Their workshop was located in upstate New York until they recently relocated and the amazing property is for sale for a whopping $1.9 million (making this a post for dreamers).
The property includes two large stone barns, a 1,500 square foot farm house, and 147 acres of wooded land ideal for hiking, hunting, fishing and swimming.
The barns were built at the turn of the century by architect Julian Burroughs. In 1936 the property became the Wiltwyck School for Boys and in the early 70's the land went back into private hands.
Located on the west side of the Hudson River, the real estate sits about 15 minutes north of New Paltz, and across the river from the towns of Rhinebeck and Hyde Park.
Sorry, the site lacks good photos of the insides but if you're lucky enough to be in the market, or just for fun, check out the complete listing at the BDDW site.
